Linux is very stable and reliable in the application as a router, since Linux can forward data packets between networks as well as to both the outside network or internet Ubuntu Linux is one of the biggest Linux distro that has good support in terms of safety and ease of installation and application to personal and office environments Authors try to apply Linux Ubuntu 12.4 on BRI Unit Simpang Teritip network as a router, DNS and proxy servers using star topology network with network analysis methods, network design and implementation of the network
