ABSTRAKS

Object-oriented software used today is growing rapidly with a wide selection of advantages and disadvantages. In this study, the authors raise some software object-oriented programming languages are VB.NET, Java, Borland Delphi 7.0 and C + +. To select a software object-oriented programming language with a seven-level criteria. The level 1 criteria: user requirements, ease of use, programming environment, cost, concept of the object, what hardware / software, and multiple platforms, level 2 criteria consists of 23 criteria derived from special advantages for software object-oriented programming language. As for the level 3 there are four alternatives are VB.NET, Java, Borland Delphi 7.0, and C + +. In choosing software object-oriented programming language the author uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) with the tool using Expert Choice 2000. The results of this election result as a software Java object-oriented programming language that reliable compared to VB.NET, Borland Delphi and C + + 7.0. Java level of reliability reached 32.4%. And the most influential factor in the selection process is a cost factor reached 27.4%.
