Abstrak
Centrum Hotel forms one of three-star hotels that is on the centre of Pangkalpinaang City, located on Depati Amir Street Number 8, that becomes a destination of tourists to stay in or room reservations. The process of room reservations at Centrum Hotel begins by encoding for processing of room, clothes, goods/drinks, reservations, cancellation of reservations, process of check in, ordering of goods/drinks, ordering of laundry, statement of account revenue of laundry, statement of account revenue of restaurant, process of checkout, making of reservations report, laundry report and restaurant report. Each type of room that is prepared by management, then handed over to receptionist. The problem is: no computerized system for reservations data savings via calling by phone as well as who visiting directly to Centrum Hotel. The result, there is incompatibility between comsumer’s pretension and level of room type in Centrum hotel. Because of that, the writer will try to design informative system of reservations based on desktop aplication in Centrum Hotel Pangkalpinang. To solve this problem, approriate reservations computerized system to support the development and expansion of business. With the result that the making of reservations application expected to be able to make something easy, such as data search, source of data and information management. Besides, it is also expected to be able to increase the hotel performance by using maximum informative technology, in order that reservations process is faster, more effective and efficient.
