ABSTRACT

This study was carried out to provide information services and to improve performance in the areas of handling correspondence in order to become more effective, fast, accurate and efficient and minimizes errors that arise in the handling of correspondence at the Immigration Office environment Pangkalpinang Bangka Belitung province. The purpose of this is to get the actual data that can be found on the vulnerabilities of the old system, then improved by using the new system. Analysis used in building a new system is to use object-oriented methods with software tools software UML (Unified Modeling Language), direct observation, and interviews to the relevant parties. From the analysis and design which has been made is the need for computerized systems that in the handling of correspondence can be done well and distribution of correspondence in accordance with the rules and procedures that apply to the Immigration Office Pangkalpinang Bangka Belitung province.
