ABSTRACT
Information technology and telecommunications are two things that are mutually supportive of each other. Information technology and wireless communication (Wireless) is growing rapidly. These advances provide opportunities for the development of different types of applications that take advantage of information technology and wireless telecommunications, both in terms of infrastructure, protocols, specifications, and information and communication technology tools them selves. One of the applications that use information technology and telecommunications applications wirelessly is SMS (ShortMessagesService). The main topics of this final report is the application of value of information providers and information-based SMS Gateway school. Structured to address the needs of real time information for students to know the value of the UTS, knowing the value of UAS, as well as find out the latest school information in SMPN 7 Pangkalpinang. In this final report will be discussed about the concept of SMS technology, connect the phone to the computer with the server using the command AT Command. Then the discussion will be followed by analysis and system design. Next discuss the implementation and testing.
