Abstraksi
Goats are a popular animal consumption and have long raised public. But in goat development are often plagued both infectious and non-infectious. Highly contagious infectious disease caused huge losses to farmers each year. Some common disease in goats is the disease anthrax, foot and mouth, intestinal worms,and so on. The farmers generally rely on veterinary services for livestock goats diagnose disease. But the more expensive consulting services that add to the burden of farmers in fulfilling operational costs. To get around this problem one of which is using an expert system to diagnose the disease in goats to help farmers diagnose diseases that infect livestock. In this final project has built an expert system for diagnosing diseases in farm animals goats to help breeders identify symptoms and diagnose livestock diseases. Systems development method used is the development of an expert system which consists of a state assessment, collection of knowledge, system design and system implementation, test or testing, documentation, and maintenance of the system, but in this application only to the extent dokumenasi alone. This application was built using the Java programming language, and PHP, and MySQL for the database server. This research resulted in the application of expert systems equipped with different types of livestock in Indonesian goat, how to care and be able to diagnose the type of disease that affects goats based on data from the symptoms or a user-selected questions and provide information in accordance with the prevention of illness. With this application is expected to be used by many people.
