Abstrak

Nowadays technology is growing rapidly. That using geographic information systems and internet service media navigation system or GPS (Global Positioning System) found on the smartphone platform android, google maps and google services which is a product that is a virtual map, free, and online. Where the public can access the map anywhere and anytime when needed. However the google maps do not show the location of the police station as a whole. Therefore it is necessary the development of a geographic information system (GIS) mapping of the location of the police station in Bangka Belitung to make it easier for people to find the location of the police station in order to obtain information about the location of the region of Bangka Belitung police station, while in Bangka Belitung using internet service media and smartphones that use the android operating system.
