Abstrak The purpose of this paper is that the creation of an academic information system applications based on android SMAN 2 Pangkalpinang, which will help the academic activities of one of them is an important facility that can be used by students in the form of the features available on applications such as well as student data information, class schedule, report card grades and all information related to activities at the school. The need for information quickly, accurately and realtime render a number of means to access it, one of them with the help of mobile devices such as smartphones. Android is a smartphone platform that is much-loved by the young people at this time, Making use of the Java programming language, Eclipse IDE as an editor, MySQL as a database server and XAMPP as localhost. During its development, academic information is stored in a hosting website, in order to facilitate the access to information from anywhere as long as it is connected to the Internet. By minimizing the use of image formats and only emphasis on pengirimanan text format, then the process of parsing the data will be much faster and power efficient so that it can produce information quickly, precisely and accurately.
