Abstrak

Geographic Information System is a computer based information system thatcombines elements of the map (geographic) and the information about the map (data attributes) that are designed to obtain, process, manipulation, analysis and display of spatial data to complete planning, process and investigate the problem. Until now SIG has covered several areas of life, one of which is in the field of mapping the location of the base oil. In this paper the author makes the application of web based GIS mapping kerosene bases in the islands of the Pacific Islands, especially in Pangkalpinang. The information generated from this application include the location address of the base, the base name, the date of entry of oil. With application of GIS is expected to assist users in finding the location of the base, which is located in the city Pangkalpinang, more easily and quickly. These applications are built with software QGIS (Quantum GIS) and OSGeo4W Map Server.
