The website has a lot in its development in the world of education in Indonesia, one of which is used in academic school. The problems encountered in SMP Negeri 6 Pangkalpinang is slow in the delivery of information, as well as the frequent occurrence of errors in inputting data. Based on these issues, then made Web-Based Academic Information System at SMP Negeri 6 Pangkalpinang as a system that can support the process of delivering information online such as the schedule of subjects, report cards, and other requirements contained in SMP Negeri 6 Pangkalpinang, thus helping to speed and quality in the delivery of information. Web-based academic information system is created using Adobe Deramweaver because Dreamweaver features integrated browser to view web pages developed its own program in the preview window that allows content to be open in the web browser that has been installed. As well as using the PHP programming language PHP has advantages because it can be used in various machines (Linux, Unix, Macintosh, Windows) and a scripting language that is most easily because it has a lot of references. With Adobe Dreamweaver and PHP programming language is the one to be made web-based academic information system for Junior High School Number 6 Pangkalpinang.
