Abstrak

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is growing very rapidly in technological advancements. By utilizing media and internet services or the navigation system GPS (Global Positioning System) that are on the Smartphone platform and google maps android which is a product of Google services map that will be virtual, free and online. Application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in the field of services plays an important role in providing information to the people who are in distant places. The purpose of this application is to help the Pacific Islands community in finding the location of the post office quickly. With the development of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), mapping the location of the post office in Bangka Belitung Province to facilitate the public in seeking information about the location of the post office in the area of Bangka Belitung Province, using Internet media services and smartphones that use operating system android.
