Abstrak
School is one of the organizations in which there are teaching and learning activities under the responsibility of the Principal. All the activities that take place in school as a whole can not be monitored without a proper organization. For the organization of the database design can answer all the questions that arise. In monitoring the activities of students, SMK 1 Mendobarat still using a simple manner, so that it is still possible errors in the processing of information. Issues to be discussed in this activity is how the application of information systems school at SMK Negeri 1 Mendobarat well include the presentation of a list of new students, students’ academic grades, subjects, attendance and others become more easily and efficiently. Design of System Academic Services at SMK Negeri 1 Mendobarat using SMS Gateway which the system will utilize SMS as a standard format for sending and receiving the information needed. Programming language used in the design of this is Delphi 2010 and MySQL as the database. Expected by using this system the school will be easier to provide information needed by parents and students, so that the work previously done manually can be more easily and computerized well.
