Abstract
In addition to English , there is a Foreign Language is mostly used in the world to communicate , one of them is Mandarin Language. Mandarin is a Chinese dialect. There is now a lot of people are learning Mandarin. Mandarin language can be learned through the course , read a book or a dictionary , via the Internet. Actually if learning use the book sometimes makes we feel boring. Learning Media on smartphone already found in everywhere, especially smartphone based on android. Because the features in Android smartphones can be used to assist in the learning media. By utilizing the features and convenience in a smartphone, then be made an multimedia learning application for learn Mandarin Language entitled “Multimedia Learning Mandarin Language Application Based On Android In SD Harapan Sungailiat. Users can use the application by offline. Development of systems used to build these applications are using Eclipse , Java language for scripting program. The design of the system used is a UML diagram. This application is expected to simplify the process of Mandarin words through android smartphones
