Abstractions

IT governance maturity level on meteorological information system at the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) pangkalpinang using COBIT Framework 4.0 with a focus on the domain PO (Plan and organisé), AI (Acquire and Implement), DS (Delivery and Support) , and ME (Monitor and Evaluate). COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology) version 4.0 is a standard model of IT governance are gaining widespread recognition and published by ISACA (Information Sytem Audit and Control Association). The technique of data analysis performed by the author using a questionnaire given to the respondents with some purposive sampling techniques, observation, interviews, and literature. And questionnaire data are then processed the data so that it can determine how much the level of maturity (maturity level) in the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) pangkalpinang. From the results of the data conducted by the authors found that the level of maturity (maturity level) assessment of the management of information systems in the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) pangkalpinang, located on level 3 (Define), which at this level agency already has mechanisms and procedures are good and clear on the procedure for investment in information technology and has communicated and well socialized at all management agencies.
