ABSTRACT
The impact of development of information technology is the use of computer systems that are not denied benefits. This matter can not be separated from function that is given by the computer itself as a tool for the process of collecting, processing, storing and providing information. Existing information systems in SMA THB Pangkalpinang still manual so frequent delays and time-consuming in the data processing. Among such as data processing and reporting student grades students. SMA THB Pangkalpinang is one of the private educational institutions for high school, where the purpose of this study is to facilitate systems previously run manually and after a computerized would be easier and save time and help the school in the process of data processing, assist the school in making the value of the processing, facilitate in making a good report or report student scores other reports relating to academic, so that academic activities will report more timely. Then designed an academic system using VB 2008 as a language modeling techniques used in the analysis of this system there are several diagrams are used as activity diagrams, use case diagrams, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, resulting in a system design that is easy to interact and produce an effective system. The results of this study is an application called: Academic Information Systems At SMA THB Pangkalpinang made to facilitate activities SMA THB Pangkalpinang.
