ABSTRACT
Traffic accidents are one of the problems of urban areas that deserve special attention, because this issue concerns the safety of human lives. Humans are literally needed transportation as a support for the smooth activity. As a result, the current rise in road transport due to the growing number of vehicles. Growth in the number of vehicles is usually not followed by the growth of new roads. The real impact that can be felt when the capacity of the road is not able to accommodate the number of vehicles passing by, among others, traffic congestion, chaos, environmental pollution, and is the most fatal traffic accidents. In conducting this research, the writer used pembutan Waterfall in WebGIS. This study has the benefit to map vulnerability and traffic accident-prone locations (black sites and the black spot) in Pangkalpinang and also determine the level of vulnerability and the distribution of traffic accident-prone locations in Pangkalpinang through black site maps and black spots. By simply using the internet access, people can easily obtain the information by accessing WebGIS without time limit the access (accessible 24 hours) The information is displayed fully and clearly because it is included roads, as well as information on the location of the point of the place.
