Abstraction
Advancement of Science and Technology (Science and Technology) let followed by Faith and Piety (IMTAK), it is unfortunate, if there are many people who can not read Hijaiyah and Iqra as a basic learning methods from the Qur’an. Hijaiyah letter today introduced through Iqra study conducted with the current method of learning is done in a conventional manner, namely: teacher explains at the blackboard and the students listen to the way it is sometimes tedious. Learning application is a medium that can be used to convey the content of the material involving mobile devices such as mobile phones based on Android. Hijaiyah mobile learning applications and android-based Iqra is an application created as a basis for reading the Qur’an interactive and communicative. Software support in making this application is the Eclipse (IDE). The methodology used in the making of this application is the waterfall methodology. The objective of this application is expected to be a medium for anyone who wants to learn and read letters hijayah and iqra especially children in a way that is not boring so the learning system more effective and efficient use of Android- based smartphones.
