ABSTRACT
Developments in the modernization of the current communication is growing rapidly, this fact can be proven with the development of various types of smartphones made leading mobile phone vendors in the world. It is either directly or indirectly influence the development of health in Indonesia in developing a variety of technologies. The availability of mobile devices, development environment and libraries mapping allows the development of mobile GIS applications related to world health. In the development of this application using the android operating system which is one of the mobile phone operating system that is popular now integrated with google maps services that are web- based virtual world maps are provided by Google. Applications can be used as a medium of navigation and location information specifically for maternity hospitals in the city of Pangkalpinang and Sungailiat. OOSE system development method (Object Oriented Software Engineering). With this OOSE method development closer to the real world and their consistency at the time of its development, the resulting software will be able to meet the needs of the user. While the tools I use in this OOSE method is UML tools by using multiple diagrams, use case and activity diagrams. Product of the development is an application of Geographic Information System (GIS) -based platform or mobile that has the Android operating system.
