Abstract

Innovation in telecomunication technology is develop quickly and incompliance with character development which have high mobility, seek the flexible service, easy and satisficated also seek the efficiency in all aspect. Handphone is not only as communication tool but also as media to get any information, entertainment, etc. In a row with increase of people mobility for information needed as digital map that don’t depend on place and time, then needed a GIS application which use wireless technology or we know with mobile GIS to show an information. Because of that writer interest to bulid the application which can give information about tour destination area in Pangkalpinang city. This application bulid use android system where the android is used by almost as operation system for mobile devices. This application bulid for show many information, like address, phone number, website and maps for seek the tour destination area based on lattitude and longitude coordinate.
